FLORAL MANDALA 1 is a flower mandala made with weathered fence picket wood with fence stain for coloring and a hand pounded copper accent in the center. It measures 14-1/2" across. It hangs on the wall and was made simultaneously with FLORAL MANDALA 2. The intention was always for the two mandalas to be paired up and they were sold as a pair.

I was born August 22, 1948 in Cortez, CO. My family moved to Littleton, CO. in 1961, and I graduated High School from Littleton High School 1966. Then I went to Western State College in Gunnison, CO, 1966 – 1968, but did not graduate. I never went to art school. I am a completely self-taught artist and have had a good teacher. I began framing houses to earn a living in 1977 and worked in the construction trades for the next 25-28 years. I moved to Los Angeles in1982 and had a door installation business until 2002. In 2001, I found my soulmate and love of my life. We moved to Colorado in March of 2002 and we were married in June of that year.
