Denny's stuff is amazing. Love the colors and the Rooster is so life like. Look closely at the detail on all his work, and especially on the Rooster. I ordered a pillow with the Mandala 2 on it, and an iphone cover with Mandala 3 on it. I can't wait till they arrive. I'll let you know how they turned out!

Denny McNeill replied:

Thank you for the kind words Kathy!

Artist's Description

This mandala is made with weathered Cedar fence picket wood that has been painted with artist oil paint. A black glass "puddle" surrounded by twisted aluminum wire makes a uniquely contrasting center. Each piece of wood is wire brushed, bleached, hand cut and painted with diluted artist oil paint; then put in place with glue and brads. great care is taken in selecting woods with similar grain patterns for each different tier of the design. The artist's monogram appears on the front of the piece with the year of making. The back of the piece is finished with kraft paper, titled and signed by the artist and picture hanging wire is attached. The entire piece is sealed with lacquer. Cleaning/dusting is as simple as using a brush attachment with your vacuum cleaner.
