Artist's Description
This Colorado State Flag is made with weathered Cedar fence pickets and artist's oil paint. Even though Colorado abandoned this design for their State logo, it remains very popular among Coloradoans. The weathered wood grain adds a touch of rustic character. The piece measures 15-7/8" x 9-1/8". It will look terrific on all manner products so please check them out.
About Denny McNeill
I was born August 22, 1948 in Cortez, CO. My family moved to Littleton, CO. in 1961, and I graduated High School from Littleton High School 1966. Then I went to Western State College in Gunnison, CO, 1966 – 1968, but did not graduate. I never went to art school. I am a completely self-taught artist and have had a good teacher. I began framing houses to earn a living in 1977 and worked in the construction trades for the next 25-28 years. I moved to Los Angeles in1982 and had a door installation business until 2002. In 2001, I found my soulmate and love of my life. We moved to Colorado in March of 2002 and we were married in June of that year.
